Intel Inside out - Now in US

Another News about Intel's GREAT Success
story to remain Big in market.
This News from US (previous from EU),
where State of New York file case against
Intel to pay money to AMD.
HP is second in line not to Do or Delay
release for AMD.
Dell as my personal experience, they are
not selling direct AMD, only through
Phone and salesman will let you know
various short-comes in AMD deals, provide
better deals in Intel only (this is India's story).

if you remember EU's fine to Intel (around 3.45 billion in May),
Intel reply them with various reasons, but final
reply from EU you can read hereLink
So, this is Intel's Inside story, US prepared
after EU, but I am not sure about my country
whether they will start find wrong business
deals or not as Intel may pay more money now
to politician or Officers than EU/US.:-)

Let me try BlackBerry once...

Finally Got BlackBerry Set (8520) after various
attempt Failed to fix Nokia 97. It is latest phone
with No 3G, but all other Features like
Music Player
GPRS/EDGE/Wi-fi
and other BlackBerry Feature, for which it is known far.

it is only for Airtel in India, and I have Airtel sim,
so tried, Phone is working, but Email and Messenger
Is not working, because it is need to active with Service
Provider and Sat/Sun it is not possible.

I liked the Trackpad Navigation and Multimedia Feature,
also Security, (other phone has, but not enabled by
default, but it has).

Place Call without Unlock the Screen is another feature
I liked.

you can get your (user) information on left side of screen
very easily and looks good

Keypad is quite Good, but surely you can't compare it with
Nokia N97.
Download application and without Email Setup, it seems
empty, Will update later how it behaves after getting it
activied with Aitel,

Only One Theme is provided (it is quite good), and Camera
without Flash are few more things, which I like to improve,
but this lowest cost handset, so what else can expect:)

Speed of handset (for opening and call support) is quite good
as compared to Buggy Nokia N97. Some timeN97 crash,
during call hanged (1 out of 9-10) (I have updated v12 Software,
but still problems). Nokia Service centre asked me
to Fresh install (or Flash content), but how can I do that, not
want to loose any data. I moved to BlackBerry and asked
myself 'let me try blackberry once..'

EU - Time to uncover Intel's dirty face...

as News on BBC, European regulators Commission started probe
againist Intel for Serious
case for "Not to Keep Stock" for AMD.
Intel also forced Dealer to swtich ONLY to intel products.
Intel also asked dealer to "Delay" any planned AMD product launch plan.

if failed to reply and loss the case, then fine to Intel can be up to 10% of annual turnover.

it is same story in various part of world, in India, it seems Intel
and M$ showing same trend from years. I have recently ordered Laptop
from "DELL", when asked for AMD based laptop (expecting less prices),
then Sellsman tried to convence me to buy only Intel based, as "AMD
has more issue, you will have to pay more, it is not available," even
it took 15 mintunes to find AMD based laptop, while it should not
be. Finally he said it will cost me 4,000 Rs (~$100) more than same configuration
with Intel. what? but it should be.
Same case when I asked laptop without Microsoft Vista. Laptop
was with only DOS, but cost only lower 1000 Rs ($25). Is Vista
available in just $25?

it is India, so nobody is going to regulate these people, but we should
have to learn from EU, if you are with good spirit. Open Source
People should make awareness about These type of Monopolies.
Problem with Open Source companises is that those are also trying to
following their Closed Source Friends.
